HiveMatrix iOS Privacy Policy

Effective June 23, 2026

HiveMatrix iOS is a client for your own self-hosted HiveMatrix daemon. The developer does not collect, receive, store, sell, or track data from this app. There are no accounts, no analytics SDKs, no advertising, and no third-party tracking.

What the app stores

To connect to your daemon, the app may save your server URL and access token in the device Keychain, plus local interface preferences such as theme. This information stays on your device and is used only to reach the HiveMatrix daemon you configured.

Where your data goes

Board, task, directive, approval, and status data is requested from and sent to the HiveMatrix daemon you connect to. That daemon is typically your own Mac, and any remote access is controlled by you. None of this data is sent to the developer's systems.

Microphone

If you grant microphone permission and use push-to-talk, the app records the audio you intentionally provide and sends it to your configured HiveMatrix daemon for transcription and response. The developer does not receive that audio.

Demo mode

The "Explore the demo" mode uses sample data so reviewers and users can inspect the app without connecting to a daemon. Demo mode does not require an account and does not collect data.

Data collected by the developer

None. Because the developer does not collect data through HiveMatrix iOS, there is no app data for the developer to share, sell, or disclose.

Children

HiveMatrix is a productivity tool and is not directed to children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
